Biodynamisk jordbruk
Det biologisk-dynamiske jordbruket er et økologisk, kretsløpsjordbruk basert på lokale og fornybare ressurser. I driften inngår husdyrhold, overveiende drøvtyggere, og gården søker å være selvforsynt både med grovfôr, kraftfôr og gjødsel. Gårdens individualitet utvikles ut fra stedets naturgitte forhold som topografi, jordsmonn og klima. Plantesorter, dyreraser og vekstskifte tilpasses stedets økosystem og egenart.

Biodynamisk jordbruk følger det økologiske regelverket og har et eget regelverk de må følge i tillegg.

Dette er Kores temaside for forskning på biodynamisk jordbruk. Her har vi samlet både norsk og internasjonal forskning på produksjon av matvarer etter biodynamiske prinsipper.

Influences of Biodynamic and Conventional Farming Systems on Quality of Potato (Solanum Tuberosum L.) Crops: Results from Multivariate Analyses of Two Long-Term Field Trials in Sweden

The aim of this paper was to present results from two long term field experiments comparing potato samples from conventional farming systems with samples from biodynamic farming systems. The principal component analyses (PCA), consistently exhibited differences between potato samples from the two farming systems.

The challenge of imbalanced nutrient flows in organic farming systems: A study of organic greenhouses in Southern Germany

Organic greenhouse vegetable production is characterized by very high nutrient demands within short growing periods and high nutrient exports via products sold. Therefore, meeting crop nutrient demands and maintaining long-term sustainability in these systems is highly challenging. To gain insight in current practices this study assessed fertilization strategies and nutrient flows of ten organic horticultural farms (22 greenhouses and polytunnels) in Southwest Germany belonging to the two organic farming associations Bioland and Demeter (biodynamic) for a cropping period of three years.

Effect of biodynamic preparations on the phenolic antioxidants in potatoes with coloured-flesh

The aim of this research, which was undertaken in two years (2013–2014), was to evaluate the effect of cultivars and biodynamic (BD) preparations 500 and 501 on concentrations of phenolic compounds, quantitative and qualitative anthocyanins and phenolic acids compositions, and antioxidant activity in the tubers of coloured potatoes.

Delightful organic apple

Apple are a popular fruit, they promote health and are the most produced fruit in Switzerland. However, in order to produce them economically and sustainably under organic conditions, new and robust varieties are needed. Conventionally bred varieties are generally only resistant against scab and fire blight. For organic farming, further resistance against diseased and physiological disturbances like sooty blotch, Marssonina, Gloeosporium or biennial bearing is very important. Breeding a new apple variety is cost- and labour-intensive, and takes many years. This project will scientifically support the biodynamic breeding initiative Poma Culta and lead it into the future.

Organic and Biodynamic Management Effects on Soil Biology

Biodynamic agriculture is a unique organic farming system that utilizes, in addition to the common tools of organic agriculture, specific fermented herbal preparations as compost additives and field sprays. The objective of this work was to determine whether biodynamic compost or field spray preparations affect the soil biological community in the short term, beyond the effects of organic management.

Fruit and Soil Quality of Organic and Conventional Strawberry Agroecosystems

Our findings show that the organic strawberry farms produced higher quality fruit and that their higher quality soils may have greater microbial functional capability and resilience to stress. These findings justify additional investigations aimed at detecting and quantifying such effects and their interactions.

Growth, Yield and Fruit Quality of Grapevines under Organic and Biodynamic Management

The main objective of this study was to determine growth, yield and fruit quality of grapevines under organic and biodynamic management in relation to integrated viticultural practices. Furthermore, the mechanisms for the observed changes in growth, yield and fruit quality were investigated by determining nutrient status, physiological performance of the plants and disease incidence on bunches in three consecutive growing seasons.

Effects of traditional and biodynamic farmyard manure amendment on yields, soil chemical, biochemical and biological properties in a long-term field experiment

We studied the effects of applications of traditionally composted farmyard manure (FYM) and two types of biodynamically composted FYM over 9 years on soil chemical properties, microbial biomass and respiration, dehydrogenase and saccharase activities, decomposition rates and root production under grass-clover, activity and biomass of earthworms under wheat, and yields in a grass-clover, potatoes, winter wheat, field beans, spring wheat, winter rye crop rotation.

Økologisk og biodynamisk produksjon – effekter på jordbiologi

Organically and biodynamically managed soils had similar microbial status and were more biotically active than soils that did not receive organic fertilization. Organic management enhanced soil biological activity, but additional use of the biodynamic preparations did not significantly affect the soil biotic parameters tested.

Koala-prosjektet – er økologisk mat sunnere? 2008-2012

Gjennom forskningsprosjektet Koala, undersøkes hvorvidt økologisk produserte matvarer har en særlig positiv helseeffekt. Studien fokuserer på barn i alderen 7-8 år og utvikling av overvekt og allergier i denne aldersgruppen. Resultatene fra undersøkelsene ble sammenliknet med data innsamlet i prosjektets tidligere fase fra 2000 til 2007.

Ulike produksjonssystemers innvirkning på den kjemiske profilen til hagebønner

Hagebønner har sjeldent blitt analysert, tross deres rike innhold av fenoliske syrer, vitamin B, mineraler, karotenoider, karbohydrater og ulike bioaktive sammensetninger. Ulike miljøfaktorer, jordkvaliteter, produksjonsmetoder og prøvetagningsmetoder innvirker alle på komposisjonen i frukt og grønnsaker. I denne studien sammenliknes den kjemiske komposisjonen til hagebønner fra fem ulike produksjonssystemer; konvensjonelt, ressursvennlig, økologisk og biodynamisk.
